具体研究方向:

1、以林源天然产物化学研究为基础,综合运用现代分离、分析技术与活性追踪相结合的方法,研究发现具有活性的先导结构或目标分子;对发现的重要活性先导化合物进行系统研究,探讨相关衍生物的结构与活性的关系,探索活性物质的运用。

2、以经济林木为研究对象,围绕遗传改良和细胞工程利用的总体目标,以应用基础研究为主,向基础研究和应用研究延伸;瞄准学科前沿问题和关键技术,深入挖掘森林植物的抗逆、速生、细胞壁发育、木材形成、次生代谢和观赏性等基因资源,研究重要性状形成的分子基础和调控机理,结合常规育种和分子育种,开展良种选育和新品种的创制。

3、以入侵物种为研究对象,开展具有生态与经济价值的微生物资源的收集,研究林木共生微生物组的抗逆功能的分子机理。同时,针对薇甘菊等重大林木有害植物,分离和筛选防治薇甘菊的微生物菌株,并揭示其防控机制,以开发出高效的微生物制剂产品。

4、微生物与植物互作相关研究,重点研究菌根真菌、内生真菌与植物的互作机制及应用。结合微生物组学等生命科学现代研究技术,了解经济林植物共生微生物组的结构与功能多样性,揭示参与经济林植物与微生物互作的关键基因、蛋白、microRNA分子及靶基因;解析共生微生物的定殖机理。此外,也探索菌根化栽培、微生物菌剂等实用化技术的研发及应用。
